About our Farmers’ Market
On June 20, 2020, 79 Derby Avenue (just past Vankleek Hill Manor) became the new temporary location for the Saturday Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market. Nestled in a pedestrian and cycle-friendly, beautifully treed cove with vendors placed around the horseshoe drive, and with safe – distancing, and COVID protocols in place, customers are invited to come and enjoy the in-person shopping experience only a Farmers’ Market can provide. The Market operates every Saturday 9:30 am – 12:30 pm year-round at this location, moving indoors in the winter months.
Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market Inc. (established in 1997) is an incorporated non-profit volunteer-driven organization serving Champlain Township, the United Counties of Prescott Russell and surrounding regions. Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market Inc. operates the Saturday Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market as an EOHU Certified Farmers’ Market.
The majority of vendors attending the market are local, primary producers who sell what they grow and/or raise, and thereby provide consumers with access to fresh and value-added food products straight from our local farms including produce, meats, baked goods and food to take away.
High-quality, one of a kind, vendor made artisanal food, craft and personal care products add an extra flair to Market Day. The Saturday Vankleek Hill Farmers’ Market is a social gathering place where you can listen to great music, purchase great food, and meet friends & neighbours. A Market not to miss, it is a must-see destination for visitors who want to sample some of the best agri-food and craft in the province and to experience the vibrancy Vankleek HiIl is famous for!
